[Bio-Works]Webinar: Advanced 3rd Gen Agarose Resin for Purification of Biomolecules & What an Optimal Narrow Pore Size Distribution COULD DO FOR YOU
Date: Nov 19, 2021(Fri) Time: 03:00-04:00 PM HKT

About the Webinar:
In this 30-minute presentation, Dr Hammarberg will go through and highlight the benefits and unique features with Bio-Works proprietary agarose chromatography resins, WorkBeads™. These highly cross-linked rigid beads with a narrow pore size distribution have several advantages when purifying, proteins, peptides, and oligonucleotides for therapeutic or diagnostic use. Apart from the Key Differencing Factors there will also be customer and in-house case studies showing the benefits of WorkBeads in terms of dynamic binding capacity, purity, and yield, which also contributes to better Cost of Goods and lowering environmental impact. The focus will be ion-exchange chromatography, but the full portfolio of chromatography resins for IMAC, SEC and Protein A based separations in prepacked lab-columns to large scale glass columns will also be covered.

Learning Objectives:
Not all agarose-based chromatography resins are equal. The design and underpinning technology of chromatography beads are key factors to high performance separations of biomolecules without causing unnecessary loss of target molecule due to non-specific interactions.
The importance of using rigid smaller chromatography resins (45 µm) with narrow pore size distribution to get the high DBC, superior selectivity and high yield, all at the same time.
