[Bio-Works]Webinar: Purification of Oligonucleotides Using Anion-Exchange Chromatography
Date: Nov 11, 2021(Thur)  Time: 10:00 PM HKT
Therapeutic RNA and DNA molecules have a stringent requirement for purity, often achieved using high-resolution anion-exchange chromatography which separates full-length sequences from incomplete or erroneous sequences.

In this webinar, our featured speaker will discuss the common purification strategies for oligonucleotides. Three case studies will be presented on the effects of residence time, temperature and type of resin on loading capacities for a 20-mer DNA, a 45 nt-long RNA and a pegylated RNA. The expert speaker will also discuss an analysis of the correlation between purity and yield using optimized conditions. These conditions generated DNA and RNA products with high yield and purity.

What you will learn?
- The principles for separation of oligonucleotides based on their negatively-charged phosphate backbones
- Which parameters are important in the optimization process and how these parameters may differ for different molecules
- How to optimize yield and purity and to understand their correlation in DNA and RNA purifications
- The importance of choosing a good resin with optimized properties in regard to bead size and pore size

Who should attend?
- Process developers, production of therapeutic oligonucleotides
- Product developers, (therapeutic) oligonucleotides
- Scientists, oligonucleotide purification
- Scientists, molecular biology
